Van Halen Tonight

Melissa and I are going to see the Brothers Van Halen this evening at the MGM Garden Arena. I had previously decided to boycott this concert because of the removal of Michael Anthony from the line up--I mean COME ON!!! That dude can sing! (All those high vocal notes? Michael.) But, the holiday spirit got me (as well as a good deal on tickets...thank you Craigslist) and we're off! Hopefully, this Van Halen concert will be better then the last one I saw (Fresno, CA 1982ish). I was 10 feet from Eddie and 1. I didn't recognize ANY song because it was SOOO LOUD! 2. Dave couldn't remember a lyric to save his life 3. I had ringing in my ears for two days after the concert And now, it's time for a little Ice Cream, Man.

surgery sucks

still recovering from my arm and wrist surgery from last week. one-handed typing is a pain but, on the upside, vicodin is pretty good stuff. next show will likely center around the experience of being wide awake during arm surgery and talking to the surgeon the whole time (mostly about the music playing during the operation).

New Business Podcast Blog

For those interested in podcasting as it relates to business, I've just launched a blog about business and corporate podcasting. It is my hope that this blog will provide those interested in bringing podcasting into their company tips on how best to position the idea to management.

The Secret to a Successful Business Podcast

PodWorx, Inc., a company I am understandably fond of, has just launched a brand new website. The Secret to a Successful Podcast, The Four P's of Podcasting® is now online and accepting visitors. You may also purchase The Four P's of Podcasting CD from the site as well. Highly recommended.

Hanging Out with LiLV Listeners

Whist keeping up with work (and life), we've been fortunate enough to spend time with some LiLV listeners! Last Sunday, we spend the day on Lake Mead with Neil and Sarah, from the UK. The weather was PERFECT and a good time was had by all. (A few days before, we thought it might rain.) Then, a couple of days ago, we had dinner at Cafe Ba Ba Reeba with Doug and Terry Jo, who are looking to move to Las Vegas from Minnesota. They were great fun as well! I gotta say, it's good to be able to hang out with such nice folks!
