With 5,000 people moving here each month, somebody had to spill the beans!

Having answered their question about being ripped off in Las Vegas during their upcoming New Years 2010 visit (in episode #73 Hip Checks and Short Skirts – Roller Derby in Las Vegas), I think Kevin and Karen saw Melissa and myself as, well, their new favorite Las Vegas friends.

To that I say, “We are, K&K.  We are!”

And what do Living in Las Vegas Podcast friends do to reciprocate their friendship?

Well. . .preferably they’d send cash.

But more times then not, they follow Kevin and Karen’s lead and submit a smiling photo to our Friends of the LiLV Podcast page!

Welcome to the Friends page, K&K!  We’re glad to have you aboard!

By the way, are YOU on our Friends page?  If you’re not, you should be!  Just attach a photo of yourself to an email and send it to friends@livinginlv.com.  Life as you know it will improve in a dozen different ways when you do so!

In what is a first during our many years of existence, our last two “Friends” photo submissions have been from two of our international listeners.  Joining Ireland’s John G. is his countryman Dermot H.  (Dermot. . .isn’t that a great Irish name?)

Welcome, Dermot, to our Friends of the LiLV Podcast page!

The cool thing is Dermot will be moving to Las Vegas in December!  I’m guessing we’ll have to meet for a pint sometime real soon!

Being of Irish descent, I was quite pleased to find John G.’s photo in our friends@livinginlv.com mail box.  John is another international Living in Las Vegas Podcast “Friend” who has just recently discovered our show.  He listens to a couple shows a day (which means he may run out pretty soon!) and visits Las Vegas once a year.

Welcome, John, to our Friends of the LiLV Podcast page!

(I wonder who the little fella in John’s arm is?  I wonder if John is the little fellow?)

Want to know one of the cool benefits of producing a live video stream show?  Well, besides the realtime feedback, and the excitement of performing in front of a live audience, it has added to our “Friends of LiLV” page.

At the end of our live show, we had a bit of a Q & A session and the subject of our “Friends” photo page came up.  Come to find out, several folks who had thought they had sent a photo either forgot to do so. . .or the photo got swiped by e-gremlins.  Either way, as a result, we’ve just received a couple more pics to the page.

Welcome to The Nugents (Brandon & Darcy + kids. . .no Reverend Ted Nugent in attendance) and Rob & Lois.  California and Michigan should be proud of such excellent representation!

Are YOU on our Friends page?  It’s easy!  Just attach a photo of yourself to an email and send it to friends [at] livinginlv.com.  Many groovy things will come your way if you do so!

A few hours ago, Thelma stopped by to check out our website for this Sunday’s LIVE STREAMING VIDEO.  I happen to be testing the chat function at the time so Thelma and I got our chat on.  Come to find out, Thelma has been listening to the Living in Las Vegas Podcast for several years now, having found us on iTunes.  When I asked if she’d sent a photo to our Friends of the LiLV Podcast page, she said she needed to send one. . .and then did.

Thelma sent us a photo of she and her husband Jeremy enjoying their honeymoon last summer while in the Grand Caymans.  Looks like they were having a good time!

Thanks, Thelma and Jeremy!

(By the way, have you added your friends photo?)

Talk about a handsome couple!  Hailing from a suburb of Detroit, Bryan and Heidi have been listening to the Living in Las Vegas Podcast for about two years and are now ready for all good things that come with sharing their photo on our website.

Bryan and Heidi, welcome to our Friends of LiLV page!

It is with great pleasure that I welcome another “Friend” of the LiLV Podcast to the ranks of photogenic folks displayed on our website.  Ron G is not only a LiLV Friend, but a personal friend as well.  Welcome, Ron!

Not only is the Canadian dollar growing stronger by the week, but the Friends of the LiLV Podcast page has grown by 3.57% with the addition of fellow podcasters Tim and Nanette.  Welcome to the page, eh?

(I wonder if they’ll be joining us for our Halloween MeetUp?)

Okay okay. . .good thing you don’t have to be smart to run your own business.  The photo said Canada which threw me. . .truth is, Tim and Nanette are from Atlanta, GA.

That uses up yesterday’s mistake quota.  Now, on to today!!!

I think it’s safe to say that the LiLV Podcast appeals to a wide range of people–demographically, geographically, and now, chronologically.  Our latest “Friend” of the LiLV Podcast looks pretty young. . .but Anne from Utah tells us that this photo is not quite as recent as the others on the page.  Regardless, welcome aboard Anne (who has been a long-time listener)!

If Melissa and I ever decide on some more international travel, I think we’ve added another place where we could stay.  Joel from Israel has been added as a new “Friend” of the Living in Las Vegas Podcast.  Welcome, Joel!
