With 5,000 people moving here each month, somebody had to spill the beans!

February 3, 2011

This is pretty cool news, y’all.

The Amazing Johnathan, the first Strip entertainer I insisted we see when we moved to Las Vegas, is going to be appearing LIVE on Awkward Silence.

What??!  YES!

AJ (that’s what his friends call him) will find himself in a “No Holds Barred. No restrictions” interview with our host-with-the-most, Brian Mollica.

AJ will be on the FEBRUARY 3rd, 2011 Awkward Silence episode, which starts LIVE at 6PM (PST).  If you’ve ever wanted to ask AJ a question (like, “where’s the best place to go bandana shopping?”), THIS IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO DO SO!

See you on Thursday night!

OverheardOnTheStrip Having lived in Las Vegas since 2004, one of the most enjoyable things I do is visit The Strip. And one of the funniest parts of those visits is overhearing what others say while walking around with a 4-foot margarita strapped around their neck. I thought it would be cool to create a single online spot to list all these funny quotes and comments so PodWorx just launched a new website called Overheard on The Strip.

Here’s the URL: http://www.OverheardOnTheStrip.com

If you’ve heard something funny during your time on The Strip, we would love for you to join the fun. Please take a moment and stop by the website. Because much of the fun of a Las Vegas Strip visit is the people watching (and listening), I hope you enjoy your visit to our brand-new website!

LasVegasLAComedyClub21 One of our favorite things to do here in Las Vegas is to hang out at the LA Comedy Club.  We’ve been fans of the comedy club since it launched at Palace Stations.  It’s now located downtown at the Four Queens Casino.

Jay, the promoter for the show, has invited me to offer any local Las Vegan the opportunity to attend any show from Wednesday to Sunday FOR FREE**!!

Show times are Wed, Thur, and Fri at 8PM, and Sat at 7PM and 9PM.  This weekend features comedians Willie Farrell and Rick D’Ellia.

There is no drink minimum.  No “catch”.  Jay is giving away these tickets to thank LV locals for making the LA Comedy Club the #1 comedy club in Las Vegas.

To get your free tickets, give Jay a call at 702.510.1611.  Tell him Scott from the Living in Las Vegas Podcast sent you!

** Free?  Well, there is a $4 “printing fee”.
